PAPEROCK SOLID

PAPEROCK LAYERED

PAPEROCK PLY

AT A GLANCE

Made from layer upon layer of paper (recycled or from renewable sources) and bonded with phenolic resin and heat/pressure cured, Paperock is a remarkably strong composite building material.

Sourced and manufactured here in Australia by an Australian owned company.

Paperock's non-porous surface provides great stain resistance as it absorbs virtually no water.

Orders greater than 10 sheets may incur a discount.

USAGE AND VERSATILITY OF PAPEROCK SOLID

This incredibly strong composite building material is being used for kitchen benches, commercial/residential food preparation surfaces, cutting boards, architectural materials (structural and aesthetic), industrial work surfaces, boat building, aerospace and furniture and numerous recreational uses.

Paperock is easily workable with CNC-routers to produce signs and other products with intricately detailed architectural components.

Paperock can be installed as full thickness countertops or, because of its superior strength, as thinner panels with a built-up edge.

SIZING & COLOUR OPTIONS

Paperock SOLID currently comes in the following colours: black, sand, brown and green.

As Paperock is made to order we can accommodate a variety of sizes. You can have Paperock manufactured in the following thicknesses: 32mm, 25mm, 18mm, 10mm, 6mm.

Max sheets size is 2850 x 1330mm (for black only)

MATERIAL DETAILS

Paperock is a composite building material made by layering paper (recycled or from renewable sources) bonded with phenolic resin and heat/pressure cured.

Phenolic resins have been around for a century since Henry Baekeland invented Bakelite. Phenolic resins have long been prized for their abrasion resistance and are still preferred for high quality automotive brake pads.

Paperock's composite and resin manufacturing process ensures that it can take significant impact with minimal damage so is great for surfaces that have constant and heavy use.

As Paperock is made from a natural product it may reflect variations inherent in the natural source materials used to manufacture it. As a result the product appearance may vary slighty from samples and batch to batch. This is most common in the sand colour.
